So I haven't wrote a blog in a while but I've been busy. At the start of the new year I decided that I wasn't going to let my weight define me anymore. Typical I know, a new year with new weight loss dreams. But this year is different for me. I am tired of not fitting into my old clothes. I am tired of not feeling comfortable when I am in my clothes. I want to feel cute again, to walk into a room and feel confident about how I look. So the way that I am changing it is by going above and beyond. I have joined the MyFitnessPal.com community where you can keep track of your weight loss by tracking the amount of calories that I eat as well as the exercise that I am doing. It has already done so much for me. Needless to say I am embarrassed by how much I didn't track what I was eating before. I have been getting up early everyday to work out. I start out using the elliptical for about 20-30 minutes and then I am taking part in the Wii Active 30-Day Challenge. It is just a short term goal for right now but I want to know that I can do it and accomplish things. It feels so good to see my progress down on paper. You might think that it is weird that I am blogging about my weight loss but I have read countless articles that say you are more likely to accomplish your goals if you are writing your progress which will include the good, bad, and the ugly. Even if no one else reads this, I don't care, this is for me. I will be taking pictures of my weight loss but as of right now I am not comfortable to post them. Once I lose weight and the pictures look good I won't be as embarrassed to post the ones from right now. But the Journey has already begun but from this day forward I will be tracking it better.
