My sisters are amazing. We are all at different points in our lives. We are alike in very many ways, yet in so very many ways we are completely different. That is what makes us unique individuals. My sister Angi is 26 yrs. old. She is a Cosmetologist and she lives in Redlands. She has the most beautiful little three year old girl I have ever seen. She is such a strong woman, an amazing mother, and such a great example for my younger sister and me. I love her, and can always count on her no matter what. My younger sister Amanda, aka Booger, is 19 yrs. old. She is currenlty attending Simpson University in Redding, Ca. She is amazing she can write like no one I have ever met. She has the creativity that I can only dream about. And then there is me. I am 21 yrs. old and I am finally a senior at CBU. These girls are my lifeline. I don't know what I would do without them. I know that no matter what we can always count on each other, and no matter who comes and goes in our life we will never leave each other. They are my oldest friends. Don't get me wrong we have differences and our disagreements but that will never change our bond.Monday, October 26, 2009

The little things
It is definitely the little things in my life that get me the most excited. I got so much homework done yesterday, I can't even believe it. To top it off I finished a paper four days early and submitted it! I don't think I've ever done a paper early in my entire life. Now I just have one more paper and studying for a couple finals. But the great part about that is, I get to study for my finals while relaxing at the beach with my babe and his amazing family. I can't wait, I need some time away from everything and studying with the most beautiful setting. This is turning out to be a pretty great week. Now I just need to get through work and school today and tomorrow and I'm outta here.

Breast Cancer Walk

On Sunday, I was fortunate enough to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. It is a Natioanl Breast Cancer walk. It was a very uplifting experience. There were a ton of people there. The length of the walk was 3.2 miles. I walked with my boyfriends work, our group was called Tech Trends for Terrific Tatas. There were so many men, women, and children there walking to support finding a cure for Breast Cancer. There were surviors from all different stages of surviving. They were survivors from any where between two months and 38 years. It was amazing to see how many women have survived breast cancer and were there to walk and support finding a cure for other women. I cannot wait for next year to be able to do the cancer walk again. Hopefully I can spread the word and get more people to walk.Friday, October 16, 2009
Bleh
Yet another Friday night at work. I can't even tell you when the last time I had a Friday night off was. How pathetic. To top it off Friday nights seem to be the slowest time EVER. It is so incredibly boring, and long. I have already gotten so much done here tonight, I've done the order, I did so much deep cleaning that I reek of Bleach, and I've managed to still serve the very few customers that we've had. If only I could be spending this boring time doing something productive, like hmmmm.... homework maybe. I am so glad it is almost the middle of the semester. That means I'm halfway there, and it has gone by so incredibly fast. Well I guess my ten minute break is over so it's back to the grind here at Starbucks.
