Breast Cancer Walk

On Sunday, I was fortunate enough to participate in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. It is a Natioanl Breast Cancer walk. It was a very uplifting experience. There were a ton of people there. The length of the walk was 3.2 miles. I walked with my boyfriends work, our group was called Tech Trends for Terrific Tatas. There were so many men, women, and children there walking to support finding a cure for Breast Cancer. There were surviors from all different stages of surviving. They were survivors from any where between two months and 38 years. It was amazing to see how many women have survived breast cancer and were there to walk and support finding a cure for other women. I cannot wait for next year to be able to do the cancer walk again. Hopefully I can spread the word and get more people to walk.
