UGGHHHH

Professors always say that they are tying to prepare us for the real world and to prepare us for our future careers. The part that I find interesting is that in all classes we have about two-three projects minimum during the semester. I am taking six classes. So if I use that logic then I will have about 12-18 projects this semester, and that is not mentioning the nightly homework, reading and studying. Then on top of the classwork I have work, and hopefully some time to sleep in between all that. I can't say that I see my professional career being as busy as I am right now. So maybe they say they are preparing us by causing stress, and lack of sleep now, so that once we start our career it'll seem like a piece of cake. Hmmm....I guess this is something to think about.

Baby Brianna

I was on facebook this morning and saw this cause. It was about Baby Brianna Lopez. http://media.causes.com/527303?p_id=5996290 As I was watching this video all I could think about was what kind of sick people would do this to a child especially their own child. It broke my heart to a degree I didn't know was possible. I hope the baby's parents rot in jail, and can never do this to another child ever again.

Death by Homework

I don't think that I have ever had this much homework in my entire life. I mean don't get me wrong I've always had homework and I've always had classes that assigned alot but never all at the same time. It's been a week and a half since I started my senior year and I feel as if I have been doing homework nonstop. I guess thats what your final year in college entails, homework and projects in every class most of which have the same due date. I can already tell this year is definitely going to be a challenge. Working full-time, going to school full-time, having a boyfriend, doing homework, and trying to spend time with my family is definitely going to stretch me thin. I am definitely up for the challenge but I am also very worried cause this year it all counts. I have to make sure that I am staying on top of things and doing my best and complete work on all my assignments. I guess I'll just have to sit back and see where this semester takes me, it should be a fun ride.

Senior Year

WOW...I can't believe it, I have finally begun my senior year of college. This is definitely unreal. It's not going to be an easy ride, and maybe not even a fun one, but in May it will all be worth it. All my hard work and perseverance will finally be rewarded with a little something that is called a diploma. That diploma will represent the endless hours I've spent studying, the ridiculous homework assignments, and also the huge financial sacrifice that my family and I have made to make it all possible. I will have my Bachelors Degree. I can't even stop saying it because it still sounds so unreal to me, it still seems as if it's a distant fantasy rather than reality. So let the journey begin, I'm ready to take it on.
